2018 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale {Early Access}

Starting today, through the 19th, all Nordstrom card holder have access to start shopping the sale before the general public! My summer class ended this week and I'm SO happy its over with! I have been dying to post more about the Nordstrom sale, but HW and preparing for my final seemed to be probably a little more important!😜 Anyway, I will try to have another post about the Nordstrom sale up on Monday or Tuesday, because it is ending August 6th! Btw, how is it almost August!? I thought July just started, haha. This year is FLYING.
This top & my necklace are part of the Nordstrom sale! Both are under $40! Im obsessed with this top, you guys! It is amazing quality and I think the sleeves are so cute! Its only $39, and is available in red and white as well! I reeeally want the white, but every time I look, all the smalls are sold out! Good thing I snagged this black one early!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017 Purchases

TGIF!! Public Access to Nordstrom Anniversary Sale began today! Below is everything I ordered during Early Access! I am including the items price and how everything fits below each photo! 

BP. Pocket Tee($18.90)

This top will be perfect under vests and cardigans in the fall! It is super lightweight. This top runs large. I ordered an XS and it fits perfectly, still leaving quite a bit of room. Order your normal size if you'd like the oversized fit! It comes in quite a few other colors as well!

Love by Design Cuff Sleeve Pullover($45.90)

I can already tell this sweater will be on major repeat this fall! As you can see it is more oversized. I ordered a S and its perfect. It has been super popular during the Early Access sale period and keeps selling out! I am so happy I got my order in early! Keep checking back for it to be restocked!

BP. V-Neck Pullover($24.90)

This sweater is seriously SO soft! It does run large. I ordered a small and love how it fits! It will be great to pair with boots and a scarf! Its available in other colors, too!

Pleione Double Ruffle Sleeve Blouse($39.90)

OK, obsessed with this top! & I don't have to wait until fall to wear it, yay! I can't get over the double ruffle sleeve! This top runs true to size, and is also available in red & white! (kind of wanting the white, too, tbh)

Thread Wubby Fleece Pullover($45.90)

This is probably my favorite item I ordered! I am a huge sucker for cozy pullovers in the fall & winter months (and even in the summer when I freeze in our house, haha)! This pullover is so so so soft and cozy, I love it! And I also want to point out that it is lined! I was sure to check that before I bought it! It has been a really popular item, so keep checking back for it to be restocked!

After July 20th everyone will have access to the sale thru August 6th! I'm going to be 100% honest with you, I don't think its as good as last years, but there is some really great basic stuff! In the image above, I have arrows pointing to the items I purchased yesterday (I also purchased #8, just couldn't fit an arrow there 😜)!  Also, I wasn't as impressed with the booties selection this year. There are some gorgeous boots (like these Vince Camuto OTK's & these Tory Burch boots) and some cute flats and athletic shoes, which I plan on doing a post on later, so stay tuned!

2017 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

Hey guys! Happy Monday!

In case you have not heard, Nordstrom's Anniversary sale is coming soon! I just started shopping this sale last year (see post on what I got here) and it was amazing! Today I just wanted to let you guys in on a little more information that I think will be extremely beneficial to you if you plan on shopping the sale as well!

What is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is only the best sale of the entire year! Seriously though. This sale is unlike any other. "Why?", you may be asking yourself. It is because everything that is included in the sale is all new merchandise at discounted prices. Once the sale is over, the prices go up to their original price. It is the largest Nordstrom sale of the entire year. 

When is the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

If you are a Nordstrom debit or credit card holder you will have early access to the sale, starting on July 13th-20th! {Apply for a card here} The sale will be open to the public July 21st-August 6th! **I highly recommend getting a Nordstrom card-that way you can earn points while you shop! (I'll cover that later on in this post) 

What is Included in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?

SO MANY THINGS! From clothing for men, women & kids, to shoes & make up! It is the perfect opportunity to get started on your fall shopping!

10 Tips for Shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale:

1. Get a Nordstrom card! I have a debit card (not credit-too dangerous😜), and it is so convenient! I earn points every time I shop! Points that lead to all kinds of rewards, including notes! For every $1 you spend you earn 2 points! For every 2,000 points you get, you receive a $20 note which you can use towards anything. If you'd rather not get a card, you can sign up for Nordstrom Rewards and receive a $10 note to shop the sale! (Join here.)

2. Save money now and think of how much you are wanting to spend. Luckily, this sale is fairly long, so there will be a couple of paydays during it! 

3. Have an idea of what you are looking for. This sale is so huge and it can be extremely overwhelming! So go into it knowing what you want! Whether it be jackets, sweaters, jeans, shoes, makeup. Shop those sections first! 

4. Start your Christmas shopping early! It might sound crazy since its July! Its going to sneak up on you, so best to start early!

5. Check the makeup section! This is something I completely missed last year, and then saw some really good stuff that other bloggers had purchased! Like MAC, Bobbi Brown and Charlotte Tilbury! And for skincare, La Mer & Clinique will be included in the sale this year, so don't miss it!

6. Use the filter tool for price selection! Before you know it, you'll be looking at sweaters that cost well over $200, which does not agree with my wallet! So be sure and use the filtering tool and set it to what fits your budget! There is so much stuff to see, so make sure your looking at what works for you!

7. Know what brands you want. This one is huge, because there is SO many good brands included! Brands like Nike, Kendra Scott, Sam Edelman, etc. So if you want some new Nikes or anything else in particular check those brands out first because you don't want it to sell out!

8. Shop early! If its possible, shop the sale as early as you can! 

9. Check back often! They are pretty good at restocking, so if an item you had your heart set on sells out, keep checking back!

10. Stock up on fall & winter items! Like I said, this sale includes all brand new items, so all of the new fall clothes and shoes will be included! Take advantage of the sale prices before they go up on August 7th!

Everything I Purchased From the #NSale

I wanted to share everything I got from the Nordstrom Sale. These aren't the best photos, but I wanted to do a post to show you how all of the clothes I got fit me! Sometimes ordering online can be confusing, because different brands may not fit the same. I always read the reviews, check if the product runs small or large, so I can make my decision based off of what other people have to say. I am so excited to show you everything I got in the sale! :) 

Remember, the sale lasts until August 8th, so you still have time to take advantage of alllll the good deals!

Cowl Neck Dress

This dress is so soft! I got it thinking, not only can I go ahead and wear it now, but also with sweaters and jackets for Fall! Also, another thing that sold me on it was that it had pockets! haha... And its only $24.90! 

Topshop Patchwork Oversize Cardigan 

You guys.... I am SO happy I decided to go ahead and get this cardigan. I was hesitant at first because I wasn't really sure how much I would like the oversized fit of it (I actually ordered a size bigger than I should have..oops). It is the comfiest sweater ever! Even though I accidentally ordered a size bigger than I should have, I don't mind how oversized it is. Also, the quality is awesome!

Dreamers by Debut Textured Knit Turtleneck 

 This turtleneck is sooo soft!! It was one of the first things I saw in the sale that I knew I had to have! It is a great Fall/Winter closet staple.

 BP Booties 

A closer shot of the booties. These are the 'Khaki Suede', and they look so much lighter on  Nordstrom's website! I still like them a lot though, and I know I will get so much wear out of them! I am also really liking the 'Chocolate Suede' ones as well and I'm suuuuper tempted to get them, too! I would advise you to order a size up. I usually wear a 7 1/2 and I got a size 8 and they fit perfectly!! 

Love by Design Mock Neck Sweater 

 This sweater is on sale for $31.90. When I first saw it online, I really liked the patch pockets! I also really wanted a sweater this color so it was a no brainer! Really happy with this purchase!

 Halogen Long Sleeve Turtleneck   // Halogen OTK Boots 

Obsessing over this turtleneck! It also comes in a ribbed version as well! It is one of those basic/classic pieces to wear all fall and winter! My favorite thing about it is how long it is! 

IN LOVE with these boots! I came so close to getting these Ivanka Trump ones, but decided to go with these instead and I am 100% so happy I did because they are gorgeous! They are also true to size!
