Happy Thursday, my babes!

Today seems like a great day to kind of update you all on my current favorite makeup/beauty products! Many of these products I use every day!

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Power Face Serum- I have been using this EVERY morning before I apply my makeup! It keeps my skin from getting dry during the winter months!

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel- I have been using this every night! It makes my skin so soft and moisturized! 

Shea Moisture African Black Soap Clarifying Mud Mask- I think I may have shared this mask before! I can apply this at night, take it off, go to bed... and in the morning my face is sooo clear of any little red spots that may have been there before! I love this stuff! I also keep a bar of African Black Soap in my shower to remove my makeup! 

Mario Badescu Facial Spray With Aloe, Herbs & Rosewater- I use this spray daily to set my makeup! I love the dewy look it gives me!

Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Serum- I get asked alllll the time if I have fake lashes, or extensions, and people are always shocked when I say no! Then, I mention that I use this serum! It is so good and a fraction of the price for other lash serums! 

Morphe x Jaclynn Hill 'Ring The Alarm' Eyeshadow Palette- I bought this palette in the fall and OMG. It is beautiful! The colors are stunning!

Urban Decay Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette- When this palette came out, I though it was pretty but was a little hesitant because I feel like pinks and reds aren't a good eyeshadow color on me... that was until I received this as a gift at Christmas! I tried it out and fell in love! The colors are gorgeous!

Morphe 35F 'Fall Into Frost' Eyeshadow Palette-This palette is the perfect every day eyeshadow palette! Its full of neutrals and has a nice balance of shimmery and matte!

HOURGLASS Veil Translucent Setting Powder- This setting powder is a dream! Keeps my makeup looking fresh all day long! 

Tart PRO Glow Highlight & Contour Palette- This palette has everything you need-liquid contour, powder contour, and BEAUTIFUL highlighting shades! 

e.l.f. Cosmetics Baked Highlighter in 'Moonlight Pearls'- I use this highlight every day in the corners of my eyes, just to give it some definition! 

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer Murumuru Butter Bronzer- This bronzer smells like coconuts! I heard such goof things about it and tried it model and love it!!

Makeup Revolution Luxury Banana Baking Powder- Best setting powder I've ever used!!

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara-The holy grail!! Y'all, I keep coming back to this mascara because it is THAT great! No other mascara makes my lashes as long and thick as this one!

BareMinerals Blemish Rescue Anti-Redness Mattifying Primer- This primer makes my skin stay nice and shine-free all day long! 

Tarte Shape Tape-Another holy grail!! I use this daily in the shade 'Fair Neutral'

Current Favorite Products...

1. Tarte Shape Tape- OK, listen up! If you have not tried the Tarte Shape Tape, you are missing out!! This is the only concealer I have been using for probably about 2 years now. I use the shade 'Fair Beige' under my eyes every day! It conceals like non other and lasts all day. This stuff is a must-have! 

2. Maybelline Tattoo Studio Brow Gel- I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this brow gel! I received it complimentary from Influenster and was really happy with it! I got the blonde shade, and I think it matches with my brows really well! This stuff does not smudge or transfer and it is waterproof! It is supposed to last up to 24 hours!

3. NARS Pore & Shine Control Primer- This primer is a little pricey, but so worth it! It lasts for forever! It really helps with shine control all day long! 

4. Mario Badescu Rose Water Spray- This rose water spray has become basically the holy grail of my daily routine! To say I am obsessed is an understatement! I have been using it as a setting spray for about the past 5 months and I can't imagine my life without it haha. I have heard from other people who used it as a setting spray that they didn't like it, and that it felt like it took off their makeup...? That hasn't been the case for me! It probably depends on what kind of foundation you are using. BUT I use #6 as my foundation every day and this spray leaves my face looking so dewy and fresh! I LOVE IT!

5. e.l.f. Contour Palette - You get maximized bang for your buck with this one! For only $6, I prefer this palette over some of the more expensive palettes I have used from Tarte and Anastasia! I like powder contour more than liquid, because I feel like it looks more natural and blends easier! If you haven't tried this one yet, do it! 

6. Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation- The only foundation I have used for like the past 4 years, almost! I. am. obsessed. It lasts all day long, gives me full coverage (which I love), AND it goes on so smooth and is not cakey whatsoever! 

7. e.l.f. Intense Eyeliner- Another elf win! This eyeliner goes on so easily! It helps me create the perfect wing! 

8. Vichy Mineral 89- What I use on my face every night! It makes my skin plump and helps me SO much when the crazy Oklahoma weather decides to change seasons in a day, haha. My skin likes to freak out when the temps drastically change. I actually apply it in the morning as well before I put on my makeup. I use two pumps at night and then just one pump in the morning! 

9. Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Serum- I already have naturally long lashes, but since I have been using this serum, I have noticed my lashes getting not just longer, but thicker as well! I put it on my lashes at night before bed and then wash it off in the morning before I apply my makeup! This is such a good and inexpensive alternative to the much more expensive serums that can cost $50-$100!

10. St. Tropez Self Tan in 'Classic'- My favorite self tanner! I can apply this Sunday night, and it can last me a week! I used to tan in tanning beds all the time, but I always knew it was terrible for my skin! Last year I decided to go ahead and just start applying self tanner and St. Tropez has been my favorite ever since!

I did a photoshoot for one of my friends and had my hair and makeup done at Primp Hair & Makeup Studio in Tulsa! I was SO obsessed with the way my hair and makeup turned out!! I didn't want to take it off! haha 

Who else is in disbelief that its already March?! Its so crazy, I don't even know where February went!  I hope your month is off to a good start! I have been so MIA on here & I apologize. I have been so busy with school and other things, my blog has not been my top priority lately! BUT I miss it and I am currently working on a couple new posts for this week! Stay tuned!

Vichy Mineral 89 Review + Current Skincare Routine

 

Hey guys! Happy Tuesday!

I have been dying to share this post with y'all and I am finally getting around to it! About a month ago I purchased the Vichy Mineral 89 skin booster from Ulta. My skin was starting to get dry and itchy from the cooler temps and I realized the face creme I had been loving the year before just wasn't really cutting it for me anymore. I had seen some other bloggers talk about the Vichy Mineral 89 and say how awesome it was so I decided to give it a try! 

The very next morning after the first night I had applied the Mineral 89 & the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Mineral Water Gel I saw a big difference! These products are different from any other I have used before.  My face was plump and so so soft! It has prevented my skin from drying out and gives my skin an even tone! I'm very pleased with the way it has worked for me!

I have been using the Mineral 89 & the Aquaria Thermal Rich Cream every night before I go to bed, and then in the morning I will apply the Mineral 89 before I put on my makeup for the day. 

Vichy Mineral 89

Step 1: About 2 to 3 nights a week I will use my Clarisonic Mia 1 with this cleanser to wash my face and help scrub off dead skin, or deep clean if I sweat a lot at the gym that day. The other days I normally just wash off my makeup in the shower and then apply the Vichy Mineral 89 when I am ready. I apply 2 pumps to my face and if there is any excess I will put it on my neck. I will let that soak in for a minute or two.

Botanics Hydrating Eye Cream  

Step 2: While I let the Mineral 89 soak in I will apply this eye cream. I have been really linking it! I am in my early 20's but its never too early to start taking good care of your skin and keeping it moisturized to help prevent aging!

Vichy Aquaria Thermal Mineral Water Gel

Step 3: Last but certainly not least I will apply the Aqualia Thermal Mineral Water Gel! It soaks into my skin really fast and doesn't leave it greasy feeling like other night creams can.

5 Things I'm Loving Right Now

1. Tarte Shape Tape
I am not even kidding when I tell you this Tarte Shape Tape has completely changed the game when it comes to concealing. Y'all, this stuff is amazing. I had heard good things about it and was in need of a new concealer so I thought I'd give it a try. After all, I love anything I try from Tarte! I love it and its amazing. I highly recommend it! It comes in 14 different shades! So you can get different shades to contour your face!

2. Rimmel London Lash Accelerator  Serum
I have been using this serum for maybe about 6 months now, and I have noticed my lashes are thicker and longer! Whats amazing is this serum only costs $9.99, compared to others that cost $50 to over $100! I put it on at night and wash it off of my lashes in the morning! The directions say you can wear it under mascara, but I don't see how that could work out well. Just wearing it at night has worked perfectly fine for me!

3. Shea Moisture Body Wash
I have been a fan of pretty much everything I have tried from Shea Moisture. I use their face moisturizer, face masks & this body wash-which smells amazing! This on in particular has frankincense and myrrh, which calm and revitalize dull skin and also help prevent aging!

4. L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Primer
I know I have mentioned this product on my blog before! It is just too good not to mention again! I use this primer literally every day, and it really does take my lashes to the next level! Increasing thickness and length! If you haven't tried it yet, you need to!

5. L'Oreal Color Intense Shampoo
I received this shampoo and conditioner complimentary from Influenster! I was super excited to try it out! I was amazed at how soft and silky it made my hair feel! Not to mention, it smells uh-mazing!

Best Moisturizers to Fight Dry Winter Skin

Today I wanted to talk about a big issue we all get in the dead of winter-dry skin. If I am not using a good moisturizer, my skin gets extremely dry! Thankfully, I have found the best moisturizer & creams that actually keep my skin moisturized! 

For my body, I use this Neutrogena Intensive Moisture Wrap. I discovered it last winter, when the lotion I was using wasn't keeping my skin moisturized. I apply it at night after my bath or shower and it keeps my skin moisturized all night and all day the next day. This stuff is amazing!!

I have been using this Shea Moisture Renewal Creme for a while now. Its more lightweight and I use as a night creme during the summer. During the winter I like to apply a little bit in the morning before I apply my makeup, just to help avoid my skin drying out when I head out the door into the cold! 

This Derma E night Creme will cure even the driest skin! Just like the body lotion I used to use, my face cream wasn't keeping my skin moisturized and I was so sick of having dry skin on my face! It itched so bad and the dry skin look isn't cute. haha This cream is pretty thick. I apply it every night to my face and neck.

LipSense Review

Hey guys! Happy Friday! 

Today I wanted to talk to y'all about LipSense. I am sure you have heard about it somewhere! There has been a lot of hype lately and I finally got my hands on some, so I wanted to review it for you! First off, I want to let you know, it was nothing I expected. I knew it was supposed to be some miracle lip gloss that stayed on for hours without you having to reapply because of its amazing abilities to not smear or smudge. Well, let me tell ya, its just that-pretty amazing. 

First, you start out with your color and apply it to your clean, dry lips (Pink Champagne is the color I am using). You apply a layer, let it dry and then repeat two more times. 

The second step is applying the gloss over the color! The color stays on literally all day long, the only thing you may need to reapply a few times is the gloss.

When you are ready to remove it, just use the remover and wipe lips clean!

So what's my verdict?

I was extremely impressed by this products ability to stay on for so long! I think that this is the perfect lip product any girl-on-the-go needs! For those of us who work full-time, and who are busy & don't have a whole lot of extra time in the day to be going to the bathroom to reapply lipstick-this is the stuff for you!

L'oreal Voluminous Primer & Mascara Review

L'oreal Voluminous Primer // Mascara

When I found out that L'oreal finally had a full tube of primer, I got so excited! You might remember in my Whats in my Makeup Bag post from a few months back, I talked about how much I liked the L'oreal Double Extend, but only used the primer side because the mascara wasn't that good... I actually think I like this primer better because the brush is bigger! I heard that the Voluminous mascara was really good, so I decided to try it out and these two together, work like a dream! This combo makes my lashes look so long and thick! Defiantly recommend it! And together they are cheaper than tube of my beloved Better Than Sex mascara! haha.. 

Also, I picked up this elf contour palette, just to try it out and it is actually really good! And I feel like the shades match my skin a little bit better than my Too Faced palette. AND its only like $6!
