Insta Lately

I have been meaning to start doing these types of posts for a while now. Just to show some of what I am sharing on Instagram (@lonnyjacks) and add shop-able links incase something caught your eye!
Hope you like it!
These Booties are my new favorites this year! I ordered them in the 'khaki suede' shade during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I loved them SO much I ordered them in 'chocolate suede' as well. :) They honestly are very comfortable. They do run a little small, so order the next size up!

Marshalls sent me the sweetest gift! For being a loyal customer and always sharing what I get there on Instagram, my blog, etc., they sent me a gift card! I was so excited! I love that they will do that for their customers!

Took this on our way to Colorado!

On top of the mountain! We climbed up this super steep mountain. I am honestly surprised one of us didn't fall-it really was that steep! haha...It was pretty awesome once we reached the top! We were both so out of breath!

LOVING these Lucky Brand shoes! I have been wearing them so much lately! & I am honestly really liking the wedge version as well(They are currently 35% off!)!
(Full blog post here.)

Ugh, just take me back!

I had been wanting some lace up flats and I finally found some Chinese Laundry ones at a reasonable price at Marshalls! Old Navy actually has some really similar ones, which you can find here (they are only $26). Nordstrom also has some similar ones here & here.

I posted this Saturday, talking about my post on my new L'oreal Voluminous mascara.
You can find that post here

Bodycon Dress & Lace Up Shoes

Dress (similar Here, Here & Here) // Steve Madden Shoes (similar Here, Here & Here) // Sunglasses // Michael Kors Ring // J Crew Factory Link Bracelet // Nail Bangle Bracelet // Similar MK Crossbody

Every girl needs a good-fitting dress! This particular one is from Marshall's, but I linked 3 similar options above! This is the type of dress you can wear all year 'round. In the summer like I am wearing it here, and in the fall and winter, with sweaters and jackets!
I decided to pair the dress with some lace up sandals. I am SO anxious to start wearing my booties, but I keep holding myself back and am trying to get as much wear out of what is left of sandal season!

Hope your week was off to a great start!

Orange Dress + 5 Ways to Beat the Monday Blues

Happy Monday!
I hope you had a great weekend! Mine was a bit stressful because I didn't realize I had homework due this weekend in a class that started Monday! So Saturday I signed onto my class just to make sure I was caught up on everything, then I realized I had some homework due on Sunday! I had no idea! So the majority of my Saturday was spent working on that! Not really how I had planned to spend my Saturday, but oh well.
I am loving this dress! I got it at Old Navy about a week ago, and for some reason I cannot find it on their website!! So, I have some similar ones linked under the last picture, and in the widget below. I really love the lace-up detail on this dress and the fit! It will be a great transitional dress for fall! I am already planing on wearing it with boots!

Old Navy Dress (similar linked, also similar here & here) // Lucky Brand Shoes // Rebecca Minkoff Crossbody // Earrings

5 Ways to Beat the Monday Blues:

1. Coffee.
Coffee, Coffee, Coffee. The answer is always coffee. Treat yourself to Starbucks & don't just make it your normal coffee or latte. Go ahead and go with a frappuccino or treat yourself to something sweet! (It's Monday, you deserve it!) :)

2. Listen To Your Favorite Music.
Every morning (not just Mondays), on my way to work, I listen to music that will get me pumped for the day! Listen to some of your current favorite tunes to get you motivated to get things done!

3. Exercise.
No, its not the first thing you want to do on a Monday, or even after work or class on a Monday. BUT, you will feel 100% better about the day and yourself if you get a nice little workout in.

4. Buy Some Fresh Flowers.
Pretty blooms will make anyones day brighter! Stop by the store and pick up some flowers. The smell and the color they bring to your room will make your day that much better!

5. ...And maybe a Bottle of Wine.
Because wine. Why not? What better way to end the day with a glass of your favorite wine...AND don't forget Bachelor In Paradise tonight...the perfect combo!

L'oreal Voluminous Primer & Mascara Review

L'oreal Voluminous Primer // Mascara

When I found out that L'oreal finally had a full tube of primer, I got so excited! You might remember in my Whats in my Makeup Bag post from a few months back, I talked about how much I liked the L'oreal Double Extend, but only used the primer side because the mascara wasn't that good... I actually think I like this primer better because the brush is bigger! I heard that the Voluminous mascara was really good, so I decided to try it out and these two together, work like a dream! This combo makes my lashes look so long and thick! Defiantly recommend it! And together they are cheaper than tube of my beloved Better Than Sex mascara! haha..
Also, I picked up this elf contour palette, just to try it out and it is actually really good! And I feel like the shades match my skin a little bit better than my Too Faced palette. AND its only like $6!

Striped Swing Tank

Massimo Top // American Eagle Jeans // Forever 21 Wedges // Similar Crossbody // J Crew Factory Bracelets // BaubleBar Earrings
This swing tank is such an easy piece to throw on and go. I like how it is more fitted at the top and then gets loose at the bottom, rather than being loose all over like most oversized tops are. Plus its only $12.99!
Hope your week is going well! I started class on Monday. Its hard to believe summer break is over already! It went by way too fast, as usual. Good luck to all y'all starting back at school!

Colorful Colorado

This was in New Mexico. It was cloudy and rainy the whole time we were driving through on our way to CO.
The landscape was so pretty, so we decided to stop and take some pictures...

We took this picture right after we crossed the state line into Colorado. Trey spotted some old county roads, so we drove on those for a while, which was pretty cool!

I've been to Colorado many times, but I have never visited the Great Sand Dunes, so we stopped by there for a while and walked around. There sooooo many people there!

People were walking way up on the dunes. We didn't go very far; we weren't wearing the right kind of shoes, anyway, and the sand was hot!

There were SO many pretty flowers up at the higher elevations. These were my favorites!

We climbed up this mountain by Clear Lake and I thought I was going to die! haha We had a hard time catching our breath, because of the elevation. Not to mention how steep it was!! The pictures don't do it justice. I literally thought I was going to slide down the mountain! Trey made me keep going, lol.

It was worth it climbing to the top for this view!

This was the view we had from one of our camping spots one night. The trees were so tall and all around us. I kept waiting for a bear or mountain lion to show up, haha, but all we saw was a deer.
By the same camp spot, there was this water fall right by us. It was so pretty!

We saw so many marmots everywhere! They were fun to watch. From the back, they almost looked like short little fluffy dogs.
Trey just making me nervous... haha. There was a few moments I was freaking out! I thought we were going to fall down the mountain! It's a good thing he is a good driver!

Thanks for stopping by!
